Suzlon Share Price Falls Despite Bagging 486 MW Order With Torrent Power

Suzlon Share Price: Suzlon Energy a multibagger renewable wind energy company bagged a huge 486 MW order with Torrent Power to generate 1 GW wind energy for India. Despite Bagging order, the shares of Suzlon Energy fell 2.82% and closed at Rs 52.78 on NSE. Similarly Suzlon Energy stock slipped 3.24% on BSE and closed at Rs 52.56. During the trading session, 89.24 lakh shares changed hands on BSE. With this market cap of the company reached Rs 71,733.97 crore.

Suzlon Order Details

As per the agreement, Suzlon Energy will supply wind turbine generators (WTG) and Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT) with 3 MW capacity each. All the products will be delivered to Bhogat Region in Gujarat. With this strategic partnership with Torrent Power, Suzlon Energy will support India’s renewable energy target.

Despite the recent price fluctuations, Suzlon Energy share has gained as much as 23.61% in the last one year and more than 444% in the last two years. The multibagger renewable energy stock made a turnover of Rs 47.41 crore in Friday’s trading session as 89.24 lakh shares changed hands on BSE. Suzlon Energy hit a 52 week high of Rs 86.04 in September, 2024 while it touched a 52-week low of Rs 35.49 in March, 2024.

The shares of Suzlon Energy have a beta of 1, indicating average volatility in a year. Currently Suzlon Energy shares are trading below its 5-day, 10-day, 20-day, 30-day, 50-day, 100-day, 150-day and 200-day moving averages, which indicates its bearish movement in terms of price action in both short and the long term. Suzlon Energy has a strong support at Rs 50.39 and resistance at Rs 56.07 so Investors should closely monitor this price level before making Investment decisions.

The recent collaboration with Torrent Power for powering 1 GW wind energy with a huge order will strengthen Suzlon’s Order Book. With a strong order book Suzlon Energy is poised for significant growth in future.
